Lowe’s has launched three holiday promotions pairing DeWalt 20V cordless tool starter kits with one, two or three additional tools. The reported prices are $299 for the one- and two-tool offers and $449 for the three-tool offer; Lowe’s lists Jan. 20, 2027, as the end date, but says the retailer may change promotions earlier.
Lowe’s has launched three DeWalt 20V cordless tool promotions tied to starter kits, offering shoppers one, two or three additional tools with qualifying purchases. ToolGuyd reports that the offers are priced at $299 for the one- and two-tool tiers and $449 for the three-tool tier, with Lowe’s listing Jan. 20, 2027, as the scheduled end date.
According to ToolGuyd’s report, the entry offer includes a DeWalt starter kit with two 5-amp-hour batteries and one bonus tool. A second $299 offer pairs a kit with a 4Ah battery and an 8Ah Powerpack battery and adds two tools. The $449 promotion includes a starter kit with a faster charger and two 8Ah XR Powerpack tabless-cell batteries, plus three tools.
ToolGuyd says shoppers can choose from a shared selection of eligible tools, including brushless models. The report describes the promotions as a build-your-own-combo offer rather than tools being given away without conditions: customers must buy a specified kit to qualify for the additional items. The source material does not provide a complete list of eligible tools or the detailed redemption steps.
The report says Lowe’s lists Jan. 20, 2027, as the end date for all three offers. That date is a scheduled promotional end date, not a guarantee that every deal will remain available until then. ToolGuyd notes that Lowe’s can change or end promotions earlier.
How the Three Kit Tiers Compare
The promotions matter to shoppers planning a holiday tool purchase because the number of bonus tools and the battery package vary substantially by tier. The $449 option includes the most additional tools and higher-capacity batteries, while the two $299 offers differ in both battery configuration and the number of included tools.
At the reported prices, the one-tool and two-tool offers cost the same. ToolGuyd questions the value of the one-tool tier at that price and says it expects the offer could become cheaper, but that is the writer’s prediction, not a confirmed Lowe’s price change. Shoppers should compare the eligible tools and kit contents against their needs rather than treating the word “free” as meaning there is no purchase cost.
Deal availability can also affect the value. ToolGuyd says popular promotions may sell out, while noting that October timing leaves room for stores to receive more stock. That is the report’s assessment; Lowe’s inventory levels and plans for replenishment are not specified.

Lowe’s Holiday Promotion Launch
ToolGuyd reports that Lowe’s began its holiday promotional campaign in October 2026, before the main holiday shopping period. The outlet says the new offers came to its attention after it spotted a DeWalt 20V starter kit listed by Acme Tools that was not yet available, then searched for the model number.
The report identifies three Lowe’s promotions and says the retailer lists the same scheduled end date for them. It also carries an affiliate disclosure: ToolGuyd says it may earn a commission if readers buy through links in its coverage. That disclosure does not change the reported prices, but readers should treat the outlet’s value judgments as its own assessment.
Prices, Stock and Offer Terms
The source report does not include Lowe’s full terms, a complete list of eligible tools, or a direct statement from the retailer confirming how long inventory will last. It is also unclear whether the one-tool promotion will later be discounted; ToolGuyd’s suggestion that it could fall to $199 is speculation, not an announced price.
Although Lowe’s reportedly lists Jan. 20, 2027, as the end date, the report cautions that the retailer may alter or end offers without notice. Availability may vary, and the supplied information does not establish whether every kit and bonus-tool combination is in stock at all locations or online.
Check Lowe’s Current Deal Listings
Shoppers considering an offer should check Lowe’s live product pages for the current price, qualifying kit, bonus-tool choices, inventory and promotion terms before ordering or visiting a store. Those details may change during the holiday campaign, and the listed end date should not be treated as a promise that stock will last until then.
ToolGuyd’s report provides no announced date for a further price adjustment or a separate update from Lowe’s. The next concrete development would be a change to the listed prices, eligible products, stock status or promotion end date.
